Joel began working with Unkle in 2002. Writing and performing the song ‘Glow’ on the ‘Never, Never, Land’ album. Over the subsequent 10 years Joel’s collaboration with Unkle continued. Co writing, performing and producing tracks for the Albums ‘End Titles’, ‘Where Did The Night Fall’ and ‘Another Night Out’.

Between 2008 and 2011 Joel performed as a singer/ guitarist and acted as musical director for Unkle Live, touring extensively across the globe from Brixton Academy to the Sydney Opera House.
